Intelligent Flow Diagrams
3DDraughting have customised a proprietary draughting design package to create "intelligent" process flow and piping instrumentation diagrams. By selecting any item, the following information or documents can be accessed from a linked database:

  • item tag numbers
  • valve and line specifications
  • valve and line sizes
  • equipment design specifications and data sheets
  • detailed process information
  • vendor documentation
  • maintenance records and data
The data is stored in a central database and is utilised to generate the 3D piping model. This ensures that all information is transferred for the piping and instrumentation diagrams to the 3D piping model.

There is a seamless transfer of information from the design phase through procurement to installation and commissioning.

3DDraughting have standard symbol libraries available but can customise these libraries in accordance with client's specific requirements.
